Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Supervising role for Warehouse Operations to lead a team of outbound associates on a Sunday-Thursday shift. You will ensure efficient pick, pack, and ship operations, monitor metrics, and coach staff to meet productivity and quality targets.

The role focuses on safety, continuous improvement, and collaboration with HR and cross-functional teams to maintain Cardinal Health’s service standards and inventory controls.

Qualifications

• Experience managing medium to large teams.
• Experience working with data analysis and/or making decisions based on analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage a team of 24-30 warehouse associates to achieve timely distribution and receipt of products and motivate employees to ensure productivity and quality are met.
• Monitor productivity standards and hold staff accountable to daily, weekly, monthly metrics; provide timely feedback and corrective action.
• Adhere to budgetary guidelines and meet DC objectives while maintaining quality and inventory standards.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, takt boards).
• Schedule daily workforce to ensure staffing for selecting, replenishing, restocking, locating and shipping merchandise.
• Coordinate maintenance of equipment and coordinate repairs.
• Mentor employee development through training, coaching, and performance appraisals.
• Spend significant time on the floor balancing administrative duties.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams including HR daily.
• Interview and hire for lead and associate roles.
