Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse associates, overseeing daily tasks while supporting the supervisor. You will lead safety procedures, quality checks, and on-the-job training for forklift operators, shipping/receiving, and inventory processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, coaching, and continuous improvement, with a focus on compliance with DOT, IATA, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years warehouse operations experience; 6 months leadership/training.
• Must be licensed forklift operator or able to obtain license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates on daily tasks.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Conduct PIT and annual recertifications.
• Assist with shipping/receiving, packing, inventory and paperwork.
• Provide backup to supervisor as needed.
• Support other warehouse roles as needed.
