Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse associates, overseeing daily tasks while supporting the supervisor as needed. The role involves operating powered industrial equipment, handling shipping paperwork, and maintaining safety and inventory controls in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in warehouse operations with leadership experience, and a forklift operator license or ability to obtain

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months experience related leadership or supervisory experience and/or training in a distribution environment.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates to fulfill their daily tasks plus the Lead's own tasks.
• Provide backup to the supervisor as needed and cover other duties in the department.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products and materials for distribution.
• Complete shipping/tracking paperwork per SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in inventory/cycle counts and report variances to leadership.
• Ensure safety inspections are performed and facility remains inspection-ready for SQFI, FDA, and customers.
