Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse teams, including forklift operators, across shipping, receiving, and inventory control. The role supports supervisors and ensures safety and efficiency in daily warehouse tasks, with a focus on training, inspections, and adherence to SOPs.

The ideal candidate has forklift certification, 2+ years in warehousing, and at least 6 months in a supervisory capacity, ready to drive continuous improvement in a dynamic logistics

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates and forklift drivers.
• Conduct PIT and annual recertification training.
• Perform safety inspections and daily equipment checks.
• Complete shipping paperwork and inventory records per SOPs.
• Act as backup to supervisor and support other roles as needed.
• Participate in cycle counts and report variances.
