Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage daily warehouse tasks including receiving, putaway, picking, loading, and shipping while ensuring productivity, safety, and high service levels for customers and suppliers.

The role requires 3-5 years in a warehouse supervisory position, knowledge of WMS systems, RF devices, and a strong safety orientation. A Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent experience. Certification for Powered Industrial Trucks is required after training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or 3-5 years of distribution center experience.
• 3-5 years of warehouse supervisory experience in a redistribution/distribution center.
• Powered industrial truck certification is required after training.
• Experience with handheld RF units and voice recognition is a plus.
• OSHA familiarity and strong safety compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor daily warehouse activities to ensure procedures, quality, and safety.
• Manage staffing, communication, training and performance.
• Lead corrective actions and employee development.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and engage staff on policy changes.
• Review procedures to improve efficiency, safety, and costs.
