Job summary

Kenco Logistics in Ohio is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse associates, overseeing shipping/receiving, inventory control, and material handling. The Lead will back up the supervisor and perform related duties across departments, including packing and forklift operations.

The role requires 2+ years in warehouse operations and 6 months in a leadership role, plus a valid forklift license. Emphasis on safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months leadership or supervisory experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates and forklift drivers; provide backup to supervisor as needed.
• Conduct PIT and annual recertification training; oversee safety observations and inspections.
• Operate powered industrial equipment to move products for distribution; load/unload/store materials.
• Complete shipping/tracking paperwork per SOPs and regulatory requirements (DOT, IATA, IMDG).
• Participate in inventory/cycle counts; report variances to leadership; ensure product rotation procedures.
