GENERAL JOB FUNCTION

• Provide leadership and clerical support for the Shipping Department.
• Provide backup for the Warehouse Supervisor, as required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the Flambeau Warehouse in the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Support invoicing, bills of lading, ASN labels, and inventory control with clerical tasks.
• Assist with export shipments.
• Coordinate customer orders and carrier arrangements.
• Communicate timely and objectively with customer service.
• Maintain knowledge of warehouse layout and product locations.
• Pull orders efficiently and accurately.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and effectively.
• Operate small package systems (UPS, FedEx) efficiently and accurately.
• Use database systems to track product status.
• Prepare shipping paperwork accurately.
• Handle sample and Express Service (ESD) orders effectively.
• Perform inventory cycle counts accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with fellow shipping associates as a team.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor.

EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehousing.
• Strong math and reading comprehension skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Delmia, etc.
• Ability to interpret customer routing guidelines.
• Manual lifting ability of 50lb cartons.
• Ability to obtain Forklift Certification.
