Job summary

FS Staffing LLC in Bloomfield, CT seeks a System Support Technician to ensure seamless IT operations in a 24/7 warehouse environment. The role covers email and phone support, device setup, OS/app installs, and routine maintenance for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.

You will troubleshoot hardware/software, manage printers and network devices, and handle user accounts and file shares. Weekend/early shifts are required in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with relevant certifications preferred.
• Professional IT experience is required.
• Ability to pay attention to detail, meet deadlines, and work in a team or independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Resolve and log IT support emails.
• Respond to and resolve IT issues over the phone.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop and laptop PCs and mobile devices; install OS and apps.
• Perform routine maintenance and data recovery.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues; install antivirus software and spyware removal as needed.
• Configure and troubleshoot printers and network devices.
• Manage warehouse software accounts and domain/AD accounts; link shared folders.
• Maintain asset inventory and orderly work area; assist with other duties as assigned.
