Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is hiring for a distribution/fulfillment associate responsible for picking, staging, and fulfilling customer orders with accuracy and safety.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, item validation, and assistance from qualified associates while maintaining equipment certifications and safety standards. You'll use the Orders App for inventory accuracy, participate in audits, and support daily operations with teamwork and effective communication.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets
• Powered Equipment Certification: Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (Required; must be obtained if not already certified)

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time, keeping staging areas clean and safe
• Deliver excellent service by selecting high quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and connecting customers with the right associates
• Operate and maintain certification for powered equipment and follow safety requirements
• Support inventory accuracy using the Orders App, maintaining SIMS compliance, and resolving short picks with leadership
• Complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks and report safety or theft concerns promptly
• Achieve daily duties with a customer-first mindset and strong communication and teamwork
• May be assigned other duties to support business needs
