Job summary

RR Donnelley is seeking a Warehouse Associate to assist with filling and packaging orders, maintain warehouse inventory, and support continuous improvement efforts. You will pick/pack, label, and prepare shipments while using warehouse management software and hand tools. Flexible schedule and overtime may be required.

Base pay and shift differential are provided, along with safety and training programs to support career growth within the distribution operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year of manufacturing/warehouse experience required.
• Ability to read/interpret job specifications and pick correct parts.
• Strong verbal and written communication for procedures.
• Basic knowledge of packing procedures, equipment and warehouse workflows.
• Stock, move, arrange, and rotate items per instructions.
• Complete stock description/quantity forms for incoming/outgoing materials.
• Skill in assembling standard shipping boxes and securing contents.
• Experience with shrink-wrap/strapping tools, dollies, pallet jacks, hand trucks.
• Basic arithmetic: add, subtract, multiply, divide.
• Willing to flex schedule for production needs, overtime or shift changes.
• Ability to use a ladder to reach items.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filling/packaging orders from the warehouse for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse inventory of products and customer materials.
• Assist with training and continuous improvement efforts.
• Pick or package materials using packing procedures and techniques.
• Assemble finished products into boxes or containers for shipping.
• Operate computers and warehouse management software.
• Label packages, organize manuals, and prepare boxes for transport.
• Bundle, seal, tag items on pallets or containers.
• Meet established productivity and quality standards.
• Identify issues and involve leads/management for solutions.
• Participate in training and development of staff.
• Count and sort product items.
• Move materials to/from equipment area as needed.
• Load/unload materials onto pallets; assist in trucking/shipping as required.
• Assist with special projects or complex customer orders.
