Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons is seeking a warehouse associate to lay up and feed materials, stack products neatly, and ensure accurate tracking through packing slips and skid flags. The role involves moving materials, applying straps, and labeling items for transit, with potential forklift operation.

Qualifications

• Ability to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items per operating instructions.
• Ability to complete stock description forms and labeling requirements.
• Proficiency with shrink-wrap, strapping equipment, pallet jacks, and hand tools used in material handling.
• Understanding of warehouse layout, item codes, and stock placement.
• Experience operating forklift trucks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lay up, feed or pile down materials at equipment.
• Jog product off counter stacker and stack neatly on skid for smooth bindery or mailing operations.
• Complete skid flags and packing slips for tracking.
• Install straps, braces, or padding to prevent shifting in transit using hand tools.
• Attach tags or labels and record information on cases or containers.
• Stack or bundle materials using banding equipment and clincher.
• May operate automated equipment or fly trucks to assist loading or moving materials.
