Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons is seeking a warehouse associate in Angola, IN to assist with filling and packaging orders for shipment and to help maintain inventory. You will follow packing procedures, label packages, and ensure accurate shipping information as part of a production team.

The role requires 1+ year in a warehouse setting, ability to read specs, strong communication, and basic math. Duties include standing, lifting, and occasional overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Ability to read and interpret job specs and identify correct parts
• Very good oral and written communication skills
• Basic knowledge of routine packing procedures and general warehouse procedures
• Able to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items per operating instructions
• Able to complete forms related to stock description, quantity, and labeling requirements
• Skill in assembling standard shipping boxes and packing contents securely
• Basic skill with shrink-wrap or strapping equipment, dollies, pallet jacks, carts or hand trucks
• Basic arithmetic
• Willing to flex schedule to meet production needs including overtime or different shift
• Able to use a ladder to pick items or retrieve boxes or materials

Responsibilities

• Pick or package a variety of printed materials or related items using different packing procedures
• Assemble finished products into boxes or containers for shipping
• Operate computers and warehouse management software
• Place labels on packages and ensure correct shipping information
• Load and unload materials onto pallets and into trucks as needed
• Meet productivity and quality standards
• Assist with training and development of employees and temporary labor
• Count and sort product items
• Support security and safety of the warehouse
• Perform other duties as assigned
