Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC in Clearfield, Utah is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to ensure safe, accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using equipment such as sit-down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach lifts, pallet jacks and RF scanners.

You will load and unload freight, stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders, check for accuracy and damage, and help label, wrap, and repack as directed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage throughout the facility.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders, check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation, while labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and repacking as directed by management.
• Operate equipment in a manner that promotes safety and complies with OSHA standards (sit-down/stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, stand-up straddle trucks, walk-behind forklifts, pallet jacks and RF scanners).
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Perform other duties such as inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
