Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is hiring a Forklift Operator to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products. The role uses sit-down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, and RF scanners to move and store goods efficiently while adhering to safety standards.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, plus a few months of related experience. You will contribute to accurate inventory management and ensure a clean, compliant work environment across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3 months related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage throughout facility.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation, while labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as directed by management.
• Operate equipment (sit down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, stand-up straddle trucks, walk behinds, pallets jacks and RF scanners) in a manner that promotes safety.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Perform inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes and other duties as needed.
