Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator to ensure safe receipt, storage and shipment of food products using forklifts and RF scanners. This role emphasizes accuracy, safety and productivity.

You'll load/unload, stack, pick orders, inspect freight, and maintain clean, orderly work areas. Ability to work overtime and weekends is a plus; high school diploma or GED preferred with 3 months related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.
• Able to meet production standards and maintain a clean, orderly work area.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using proper equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise; pick and assemble orders; check for accuracy and damage.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners safely in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Meet production goals while keeping a clean, safe workspace.
• Perform inventory, cleaning, or battery changes as needed.
