Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using various forklift types and RF scanners. You will load, unload, stack, and prepare orders, while ensuring accuracy and safety.

Individuals should be able to meet production standards, maintain a clean work area, and assist with inventory or battery changes as required. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work varying shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage throughout facility.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation, while labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as directed by management.
• Operate equipment in a manner that promotes safety, in compliance with OSHA standards, including forklifts, RF scanners, and related gear.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Perform other duties such as inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
