Job summary

Grainger in Minooka, IL is seeking a Distribution Center Associate to support inventory integrity and order processing through picking, packing, staging, shipping, and maintenance. You will report to a DC Supervisor or Process Manager and collaborate with fellow DC staff to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities include inbound/outbound tasks, accurate shipping, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates safe work practices and OSHA awareness.
• Able to maintain accuracy in high-volume warehouse tasks.
• Works well in a team environment and follows supervisor directions.
• Physically capable of repetitive lifting and long periods on feet.

Responsibilities

• Safely complete inbound and/or outbound warehouse tasks with strong attention to detail. For example, unloading, sorting, labeling, replenishing, auditing, picking and packing products
• Ensure products are shipped correctly to exceed customers' expectations for quality and delivery speed
• Meet safety, quality, productivity, behavior, attendance, and overtime requirements as needed
• Operate computerized scanning equipment and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and Hazardous
• Perform other tasks as directed by leadership
