Job summary

Grainger is seeking a Distribution Center Associate in Joliet, IL to support inventory integrity and order processing. You will handle picking, packing, staging, and shipping while maintaining safety and cleanliness, reporting to a DC Supervisor or Process Manager.

Role requires the ability to work on your feet, lift up to 75 pounds, and operate scanning equipment in a fast-paced environment. Onsite location at 701 Grainger Way, Minooka, IL 60447.

Qualifications

• Ability to work on your feet in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking, packing, and shipping.
• Ability to work safely around moving equipment and in varied temperatures.
• Team collaboration and willingness to follow directions and safety rules.
• Capacity to lift, slide, and lower packages up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely complete inbound and/or outbound warehouse tasks with attention to detail (unloading, sorting, labeling, replenishing, auditing, picking, packing).
• Ensure products are shipped correctly to meet quality and delivery speed expectations.
• Meet safety, quality, productivity, and attendance requirements, including overtime when needed.
• Operate computerized scanning equipment and maintain a clean, safe work environment per OSHA and Hazmat guidelines.
