Job summary

Grainger is hiring for a Distribution Center Associate in Minooka, IL. You will perform warehouse tasks—unloading, picking, packing, labeling, and shipping—while maintaining inventory integrity and a safe workspace. Regular interaction with a DC Supervisor or Process Manager is expected.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 75 pounds, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Training on equipment may be provided; overtime and shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Able to frequently lift, slide and lower packages up to 75 pounds.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• PIE operator experience or training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely complete inbound and/or outbound warehouse tasks with attention to detail (unloading, sorting, labeling, replenishing, auditing, picking, packing).
• Ensure products are shipped correctly to meet quality and delivery expectations.
• Meet safety, quality, productivity, attendance and overtime requirements as needed.
• Operate computerized scanning equipment and maintain a clean, safe work environment per OSHA and Hazardous materials rules.
