Job summary

Summit Electric Supply is seeking a Warehouse (Backup Driver) in Texas to receive, stock, pick customer orders for will call or delivery, and support drivers as needed. This entry-level role introduces you to the business and builds product knowledge and industry practices.

You will maintain safety, operate an iPad for orders, and help keep the warehouse organized and efficient while supporting the sales team. Pre-employment screenings apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate standard warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Pull customer tickets to fulfill orders.
• Prepare orders for shipment to customers.
• Receive and stock products to replenish inventory.
• Understand products, capabilities, and warranties.
• Assist sales associates in fulfilling customer orders when necessary.
• Maintain neat warehouse and outside areas at all times.
• Uphold safe workplace practices.
• Provide backup for drivers and deliver to customer locations.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, logs and inspections.
• Use iPad to review orders and collect signatures.
• Load and unload Summit trucks.
