Summit Electric Supply is hiring a Warehouse (Backup Driver) to support order fulfillment, inventory control, and occasional driver duties. You will receive in goods, pick and prepare orders for will call or delivery, and assist customers and sales teams.

A strong safety record and reliable transportation are essential, with the potential for growth within Summit and the Sonepar family. The role requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, 21+ years old, and the ability to operate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent driving record required.
• 21+ years old.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Strong time management and ability to juggle priorities.
• Excellent oral and written communication; strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to change.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Pull customer tickets to fulfill orders.
• Prepare orders for shipment to customers.
• Receive and stock products daily to replenish inventory.
• Understand products, capabilities and warranties.
• Assist sales associates in fulfilling orders when needed.
• Keep warehouse and outside areas neat and clean.
• Uphold a safe workplace and practices.
• Provide backup for drivers and deliver to customer locations.
• Maintain vehicle, logs and inspections.
• Use iPad to review orders and collect signatures.
• Load and unload Summit trucks.
