Job summary

Summit Electric Supply in Texas seeks a Warehouse/Delivery associate to pull and fulfill customer orders, prepare for delivery, and safely deliver materials to job sites. You will interact with customers and support the sales team with feedback and needs.

This entry-level role offers hands-on learning, exposure to product knowledge, and opportunities for advancement within Summit and the Sonepar group. A valid license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License and excellent driving record.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Strong time management and ability to organize multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to change.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean vehicle, daily driver logs and weekly vehicle inspection reports.
• Pull customer tickets to fulfill orders.
• Load and unload Summit trucks.
• Safely deliver products to customer locations.
• Provide exceptional service to all customers.
• Use iPad to review orders and collect signatures.
• Report all delivery issues and concerns.
• Prepare orders for shipment to customers.
• Receive and stock products daily to replenish inventory.
• Understand products and their capabilities and warranties.
• Assist sales associates in fulfilling customer orders when necessary.
• Ensure warehouse and outside areas are neat and clean at all times.
• Maintain safe practices and uphold Summit's commitment to a safe workplace.
