Symbotic is seeking a Shift Manager to lead the daily activities of the site operations team at the customer site. You will ensure safety, quality, and daily performance, coordinating hourly and salaried staff and executing standard operating procedures as business conditions change.

The role reports to the Automation General Manager and partners with Symbotic and customer leadership to optimize system performance, drive operational excellence, and uphold OSHA standards.

Competenze

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Industrial Automation or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in management and operations manufacturing or related field.
• Strong knowledge of automation, warehousing, and business processes.
• Leads cross-functional or cross-facility teams and interacts with executives and customers.
• Ability to work independently following maintenance procedures and manuals.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ensure safety commitments per OSHA, Symbotic, and customer processes are met daily.
• Manage a team of hourly and salaried employees to support customer operations hours.
• Execute SOPs to drive performance enhancements and adapt to changing conditions.
• Staff functions, train and develop employees, set goals and conduct performance reviews.
• Coach the team to address system issues and develop documentation for problem resolution.
• Train and enhance performance, motivate staff to exceed customer expectations.
• Communicate with local customer management and Symbotic leadership.
• Monitor system performance, analyze trends, and present solutions.
• Monitor and provide KPI reporting per contractual agreements.
• Conduct accident investigations per company guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
