Job summary

Symbotic is seeking a Site Engineer to support day-to-day reliability and performance of automated warehouse systems in a live production environment. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and stabilize electro-mechanical equipment on site, acting as a senior technical escalation point to sustain uptime.

The role focuses on system health, equipment reliability, and hands-on execution in collaboration with maintenance and operations teams, ensuring OSHA compliance and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, preferably Allen-Bradley.
• Experience with automated systems and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain health of automated systems (conveyors, lifts, robotics, motors, sensors, PLC equipment).
• Perform advanced electrical, mechanical, and automation troubleshooting to resolve production-impacting issues.
• Diagnose failures across PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors, and control hardware.
