Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Automation Maintenance Technician in Lakewood, Washington, offering weekly pay and a strong benefits package. The role emphasizes maintaining automated systems, PM programs, and safety standards in Ryder facilities across the US.

The ideal candidate has PLC and HMI programming experience, understanding of 24VDC control, and familiarity with CMMS, vision systems, and MHE operations. Training and a supportive team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Certification or 3 years experience required.
• Knowledge of 480 volts and pneumatic equipment.
• Working knowledge of computer-based maintenance and parts inventory systems.
• Demonstrated independent problem-solving capability.
• Ability to use PLC and HMI programming software; Allen Bradley, Ignition, Wonderware preferred.
• Understand 24VDC control systems and sensors.
• Experience with servo/stepper motors and related software.
• Troubleshoot barcode scanners/vision systems (Cognex, Datalogic, Keyence).
• Adhere to safety procedures including LOTO, Fall Restraint, forklift/MHE safety.
• Knowledge of operating MHE including forklift, scissor and boom lifts.

Responsabilités

• Ensure PM entries into software are complete and accurate.
• Utilize CMMS to keep the department organized and communicate with plant and corporate management.
• Maintain spare parts inventories consistent with procedures.
• Contribute to maintenance policies, procedures and SOPs.
• Keep maintenance area clean and tour-ready.
• Ensure GMP compliance.
• Establish work schedules that meet PM demands.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Participate in safety and Lean programs and support Ryder culture.
