Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Automation Maintenance Technician in Lakewood, Washington. This role supports a clean, organized facility focused on safety and efficient distribution across the US, with weekly pay and growth opportunities.

The position offers competitive pay, 6:00 am–2:30 pm Monday–Friday, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and PTO. Training and career development are emphasized in a team‑oriented environment.

Qualifikationen

• Vocational or Technical certification in related field or 3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of 480 volts and pneumatic equipment intermediate is required.
• Must have working knowledge of computer-based equipment maintenance and parts inventory systems.
• Demonstrated independent problem-solving capability.
• Ability to use PLC and HMI Programming software (Allen Bradley, Ignition, Wonderware) preferred.
• Understand 24VDC control systems and sensors.
• Experience with programming/troubleshooting servo and stepper motors.
• Ability to troubleshoot/barcode scanners and vision systems (Cognex, Datalogic, Keyence).
• Maintain safety procedures (LOTO, fall restraint, forklift/MHE).
• Knowledge of operating MHE (forklift, scissor lift, boom lift).
• Ability to work independently safely, including at heights.

Aufgaben

• Ensure PM entries into software are complete and accurate.
• Utilize CMMS to keep department organized and communicate with plant management.
• Maintain spare parts inventories and ensure procedures are followed.
• Contribute to maintenance policies, procedures, and SOPs improvements.
• Keep a clean, tour-ready maintenance area.
• Ensure GMP compliance in maintenance activities.
• Establish work schedules aligned with PM programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Participate in safety and Lean programs, supporting Ryder culture.
