Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Automation Maintenance Technician in Lakewood, Washington. You will work Monday–Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

The role involves maintaining automated equipment, PM compliance, and continuous improvement in a clean, safety-focused facility. Qualified candidates have technical certification or 3 years of related experience, plus knowledge of 480 V systems, PLC/HMI programming, and vision systems.

Qualifications

Technical certification or 3 years related maintenance experience.
Knowledge of 480 V and pneumatic equipment.
Experience with PLC/HMI programming.
Ability to troubleshoot servo/stepper motors.
Experience with Vision systems Cognex/Datalogic/Keyence.

Responsibilities

Ensure PM entries are complete and accurate.
Utilizes CMMS to keep the department organized and communicate with plant management.
Maintain spare parts inventories per procedures.
Develop and improve maintenance policies and SOPs.
Keep maintenance area clean and tour-ready.
Participate in safety and Lean programs; support Ryder culture.
