Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Warren, OH seeks a Warehouse Automation Maintenance Manager to lead a comprehensive maintenance program for automated distribution centers. You will oversee AGV/LGV systems, manage a team of technicians, and drive reliability and continuous improvement across the site.

The role requires 5+ years in automation maintenance, strong vendor management, and hands-on experience with WCS/WES, PLCs, and CMMS. This is a salaried, exempt position with relocation assistance considered.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in automation/mechanical maintenance.
• 3+ years in maintenance management supervising others.
• Electrical (including high voltage) and mechanical equipment, conveyance systems and warehouse automation.
• Vendor management experience.
• Experience with WCS/WES or PLC troubleshooting.
• Experience with CMMS and spare parts inventories.
• MS Excel and maintenance software proficiency (beginner).
• Travel 0–10%.

Responsibilities

• Implement strategies to improve site performance and CI processes.
• Monitor AGV software and WES/WCS integrations for efficiency.
• Oversee AGV/LGV performance, uptime, faults, and battery health.
• Plan PMs and repairs for assigned sites.
• Lead RCA on recurring faults and drive corrective actions.
• Generate equipment health reports and KPI dashboards.
