Job summary

OnTrac in Jessup, MD is hiring Seasonal Package Handler to help move thousands of packages during the holidays. You will work with a team, unload, sort, and load items weighing up to 50 pounds, with a 2:00 AM Friday start and roughly 5-hour shifts.

Weekly pay, seasonal bonuses, and a quick hiring process are offered. No prior warehouse experience is required; training is provided, and overtime may apply during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Safe unloading, sorting, moving, and loading packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for heavier packages.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and be ready for action.
• Work with a team to ensure on-time delivery to destinations.

Pay: $17.50/hr

This role is eligible for overtime pay consistent with applicable law.

Employment Type: SeasonalPart-Time

Shift: Friday through Tuesday | 2:00 AM start

Typical Shift Length: Approximately 5 hours

End times may vary based on package volume and business needs.

What You’ll Need

To join our team, you’ll need to:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be authorized to work in the United States

Physical Requirements

This is an active warehouse role. With or without reasonable accommodation, you must be able to:

• Repeatedly lift packages as described above
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during your scheduled shift
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull and squat while handling packages
• Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout your shift
• Work in hot or cold environments, as temperature control capabilities may be limited in the warehouse environment

Premium Holiday Pay

• Premium pay for hours worked on New Years Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
