Job summary

OnTrac in Commerce, CA is hiring seasonal package handlers to support peak holiday volume. Earn a $18.50/hour base rate with weekly pay and a seasonal bonus, with schedules offered across multiple early-morning shifts. Training will be provided, and overtime is available as needed.

You’ll work as part of a team to unload, sort, and move packages, lifting up to 50 pounds, ensuring timely and safe processing through a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends/holidays
• Meet pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law
• Able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when needed

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move and load packages weighing 30–50 pounds independently
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with team to ensure on-time delivery of packages

This role is eligible for overtime pay consistent with applicable law.

Shift: (Multiple Options Available) 4:00am - 9:00am

Typical Shift Length: Approximately 5 hours
End times may vary based on package volume and business needs.

During your shift, you’ll:

What You’ll Need

To join our team, you’ll need to:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Be dependable and available for your scheduled shift, including weekends or holidays when needed
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require

Physical Requirements

This is an active warehouse role. With or without reasonable accommodation, you must be able to:

• Repeatedly lift packages as described above
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during your scheduled shift
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull and squat while handling packages
• Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout your shift
• Work in hot or cold environments, as temperature control capabilities may be limited in the warehouse environment

Premium Holiday Pay

• Premium pay for hours worked on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
