Job summary

Vallen invites applications for a Warehouse Associate to perform receiving, stocking, and dispatch duties in our Houston distribution center. You will follow established procedures to handle goods, record inventory movements, and ensure accurate shipping and receiving activities.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and may involve forklift operation, basic computer use, and teamwork to meet daily targets. Overtime may be required and safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1 year of warehouse experience or training.
• Forklift/cherry picker experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge; MS-Office, Vista, Control, SX.e, Prophet 21.
• Ability to read safety rules, work orders, and instructions.
• Ability to work in a team and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process and load shipments by reading orders and determining items to move.
• Unload and store incoming goods; check for damage and discrepancies.
• Sort, label, and store goods on racks or shelves according to codes.
• Enter data to maintain up-to-date stock records in systems.
• Operate warehouse equipment as needed (forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Assist in inventory counts and maintain safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
