Job summary

OnTrac is hiring a Seasonal Package Handler in Compton, CA. The role is part-time seasonal, with early morning shifts and multiple schedule options including a 5:00 AM start. You will help unload, sort, and move packages as part of a team to ensure timely delivery, with weekly pay and overtime as applicable.

Training is provided for those with no prior warehouse experience. Typical shift is 4–5 hours, with season duration from 10/27/26 to 01/01/27.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Able to work scheduled shifts including weekends or holidays
• Meet pre-employment requirements including a background check where permitted by law
• Able to work overtime when needed

Responsibilities

• Unload, sort, move and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently
• Keep your work area organized and ready for action
• Work as part of a team to help packages reach their destination safely and on time

Weekly Pay No Experience Required

Pay: $18.00/hr WEEKLY Pay

This role is eligible for overtime pay consistent with applicable law.

Employment Type: Seasonal Part - Time

Shift: 5:00 AM - 9:00 AM

Saturday - Wednesday

Sunday - Thursday

Monday - Friday

Tuesday - Saturday

Wednesday - Sunday

Thursday - Monday

Friday - Tuesday

Typical Shift Length: Approximately 4-5 hours

End times may vary based on package volume and business needs.

What You’ll Need

To join our team, you’ll need to:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Be dependable and available for your scheduled shift, including weekends or holidays when needed
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require

Physical Requirements

This is an active warehouse role. With or without reasonable accommodation, you must be able to:

• Repeatedly lift packages as described above
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during your scheduled shift
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull and squat while handling packages
• Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout your shift
• Work in hot or cold environments, as temperature control capabilities may be limited in the warehouse environment

Premium Holiday Pay

• Premium pay for hours worked on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
