Job summary

OnTrac is hiring a Seasonal Package Handler at our Santa Ana, CA facility. This is a short-term, part-time role with early morning shifts and a 4–5 hour daily schedule during the holiday season. You’ll help unload, sort, and move packages, while working as part of a team to keep operations on track.

Paid weekly at $17.50 per hour with overtime eligibility. Training provided; season may lead to future opportunities based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Available for scheduled shifts, including weekends.
• Willing to undergo pre-employment background check.
• Able to lift 30–50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Unload, sort, move and load packages weighing 30–50 pounds.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and ready work area.
• Work with the team to ensure packages reach their destination on time.

This role is eligible for overtime pay consistent with applicable law.

Employment Type: Seasonal Part - Time

Shift: 5:00 AM - 9:00 AM

• Monday - Friday
• Tuesday - Saturday
• Wednesday - Sunday
• Thursday - Monday
• Friday - Tuesday

Typical Shift Length: Approximately 4-5 hours

End times may vary based on package volume and business needs.

This is an active, hands-on job where you’ll work alongside your team to keep thousands of packages moving toward their next destination.

During your shift, you’ll:

• Safely unload, sort, move and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently
• Keep your work area organized and ready for action
• Work as part of a team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time

What You’ll Need

To join our team, you’ll need to:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Be dependable and available for your scheduled shift, including weekends or holidays when needed
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require

Physical Requirements

This is an active warehouse role. With or without reasonable accommodation, you must be able to:

• Repeatedly lift packages as described above
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during your scheduled shift
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull and squat while handling packages
• Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout your shift
• Work in hot or cold environments, as temperature control capabilities may be limited in the warehouse environment

Premium Holiday Pay

• Premium pay for hours worked on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
