POSITION SUMMARY

The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. The Associate also counts and inspects product and notifies leadership of damages or discrepancies. Associates are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and will perform all duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Picking Responsibilities

• Use a pallet jack to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands.
• Efficiently and accurately pick products, stage in the appropriate areas.
• Stack, package, band, shrink wrap and label products as required by client SOPs.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures for all picking functions.

Quality Control Responsibilities

• Use documentation to ensure all products and orders are received, handled and shipped correctly.
• Verify that products meet quality standards and report damages or discrepancies.
• Stack, package, shrink wrap and label products per SOPs.
• Follow all quality control procedures as defined by SOPs.

Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance

• Execute all safety protocols and complete tasks in a safety‑promoting manner.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and proper security of the warehouse.
• Comply with all SOPs, corporate and site‑specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS standards.

Equipment Operation

• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain equipment and report any issues.

Maintenance

• Assist or perform building, grounds and equipment maintenance as assigned.

Other Duties

• Work overtime as required by business needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures ranging from mild to moderate.

• Basic to intermediate level for verifying quantities, counting inventory, etc.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 6 months experience in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.
• Current or prior MHE certification.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Occasionally handle/fingering, sit.
• Frequently bend.
• Constantly walk and stand.
• Lift/carry and push/pull 21‑50 pounds; reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat or kneel.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The employee rarely is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. Noise level is usually low to moderate.
