Position Summary

The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, stacking product, and counting and inspecting items, reporting damages or discrepancies. Associates ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment and perform all assigned duties, supporting company objectives in performance, safety, and quality while complying with all policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Picking Responsibilities

• Use a pallet jack to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands and stage in appropriate areas.
• Stack, package, band, shrink wrap, and label products per client requirements as defined by SOPs.

Quality Control Responsibilities

• Use documentation to verify that products/orders meet quality standards; report any damages or discrepancies.
• Handle, stack, package, shrink wrap, and label items as per SOPs.

Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance

• Execute all safety protocols and perform tasks safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility, assisting in warehouse security.
• Comply with SOPs, corporate and site-specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS Standards.

Equipment Operation

• Operate pallet jack and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Report equipment problems and maintain upkeep.

Maintenance

• Assist with building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.

Other Duties

• Work overtime as dictated by business needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures ranging from mild to moderate.

• English (reading, writing, verbal)

Mathematical Skills

• Basic to intermediate level to verify quantities, count inventory, or perform related duties.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.
• Current or prior MHE certification.
