Job Title: Warehouse Associate – D Shift (4 openings)

Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6am–6pm
Type: Hourly

Position Summary

The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. The Associate also counts and inspects product and notifies leadership when there are damages or discrepancies. The role requires safe and efficient operation of all equipment and performing all duties as assigned. Associates are expected to meet company objectives in performance, safety, and quality and comply with all corporate and site‑specific policies.

Responsibilities

Picking Responsibilities:

• Use a pallet jack to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands.
• Efficiently pick products and stage them in the appropriate areas.
• Stack, pack, band, shrink wrap and label products as required.
• Process all picking functions as defined by Standard Operating Procedures.

Quality Control Responsibilities:

• Use appropriate documentation to verify that all products and orders are received, handled and shipped correctly.
• Verify that products and/or orders meet quality standards and report any damages or discrepancies.
• Stack, package, shrink wrap and label products.
• Perform all quality control functions as defined by Standard Operating Procedures.

Safety, Housekeeping and Compliance:

• Execute all safety protocols and perform tasks in a manner that promotes safety.
• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area and assist in warehouse security.
• Comply with Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site‑specific policies, safety rules and OSHA/SDS standards.

Equipment Operation:

• Operate a pallet jack and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain equipment and report problems.
• Follow prescribed work methods for equipment use.

Maintenance Duties:

• Assist in building, grounds and equipment maintenance as assigned.

Other Duties:

• Work overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Ability to work in unregulated temperatures ranging from mild to moderate.
• No required certificates, licenses or professional designations.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.
• Current or prior Material Handling Equipment (MHE) certification.

Physical Demands

• Occasionally – Handling/fingering, sitting.
• Frequently – Bending.
• Constantly – Walking and standing.
• Can lift and carry 21–50 pounds; reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel.

Work Environment

Work is rarely exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. Noise level is usually low to moderate.
