Job summary

Kelly is hiring a Light Assembly Worker (AM01) in Carlisle, PA. The role involves picking, packing, and loading according to orders, with training and reliable weekly pay. You’ll join a supportive team in a clean, safe warehouse and gain hands-on experience in warehouse operations and inventory management.

You should have a high school diploma or GED, be computer-literate with WMS experience, and be able to lift up to 25 lbs daily. Overtime or varying shifts are required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Must be computer literate and experienced with WMS warehouse management systems.
• Able to work overtime or varying shifts as required by business demands.
• Comfortable with basic mathematical calculations.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs daily (occasional up to 50 lbs) and stand, walk, bend, and reach as needed.

Responsibilities

• Picking and placing parts according to customer orders in designated work areas.
• Reading customer orders, work orders, and shipping documents to determine items to be moved or shipped.
• Moving items from containers, racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences.
• Filling requisitions and organizing them in designated areas.
• Ensuring the warehouse is clean, safe, and accessible.
• Scanning materials and moving them as per standard work instructions.
• Assisting in counting and accurate tracking of inventory and materials.
• Performing facilities maintenance duties such as sweeping, dusting, mopping, and organizing work areas.
• Following environmental, health, and safety standards and rules.

What’s a typical day as Light Assembly Worker? You’ll be:

• Picking and placing parts according to customer orders in designated work areas
• Reading customer orders, work orders, and shipping documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped
• Moving items from containers, racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences (size, type, style, color, or product code)
• Filling requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and organizing them in designated areas
• Ensuring the warehouse is clean, safe, and accessible
• Scanning materials and moving them as per standard work instructions
• Assisting in counting and accurate tracking of inventory and materials
• Performing facilities maintenance duties such as sweeping, dusting, mopping, and organizing work areas

• Are self-motivated and able to work well in a diverse team environment
• Are flexible and able to work overtime or varying shifts as required by business demands
• Can read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Are comfortable with basic mathematical calculations
• Can lift up to 25 lbs daily (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and are physically able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, twist, turn, push, and pull as required
• Possess vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus
