Job summary

Amazon Inc. in Ohio is seeking an Area Manager to lead and develop a warehouse team. You will motivate and mentor 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates, ensuring safety, quality, attendance and performance metrics are met.

The role requires flexibility for nights, weekends and holidays, a four-on, three-off pattern common across sites. You will oversee operations, manage equipment, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Willing and able to regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays with a 4-on/3-off pattern.
• Oversee truck deliveries, sort packages, operate PIT equipment as needed.
• Work in a noisy environment and lift up to 49 pounds.
• Climb and descend stairs as required.
