Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates in Wisconsin facilities. You will mentor, motivate, and develop staff, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity while meeting daily targets.

Work includes standing and walking up to 12 hours, nights and weekends as needed, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to keep customer orders moving from dock to doorstep.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree must be completed before start.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program for Supply Chain, Business, Management or related field.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Willing and able to regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs.
• Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
