AIG is seeking a War Hazard Claims Examiner to join our Claims team in Atlanta, GA. You will review WHCA claims, evaluate documentation, and ensure compliance with federal regulations and company policies as part of our global claims handling approach.

You will partner with employers, legal counsel, government agencies, and medical providers to obtain needed records, verify benefit calculations, and maintain detailed case files throughout the lifecycle, driving accurate outcomes and continuous

Qualifikationen

• Strong investigation and analytical skills.
• Experience with recovery and reimbursement processes preferred.
• Knowledge of workers’ compensation claims and related regulations.
• DBA familiarity preferred but not required.

• Review, investigate, and manage WHCA claims in compliance with federal regulations and company policies.
• Evaluate documentation to determine eligibility for recovery under the War Hazards Act.
• Partner with employers, legal counsel, government agencies, vendors, and medical providers for documentation.
• Verify accuracy of benefit calculations and recoverable expenses.
• Maintain detailed and organized claim files throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Ensure all claim information meets AIG data quality standards.
• Identify trends and opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency.
