Job summary

The Alzheimer’s Association seeks a Fundraising Manager for Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Lexington & Ashland, KY, managing a portfolio of annual peer-to-peer events. You will recruit and coach volunteers, engage sponsors and leaders, and drive revenue growth through strategic community partnerships.

The role requires frequent travel within Central Kentucky, with a base in the Lexington office, and supports a dynamic, mission-driven team dedicated to advancing care, support, and research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of proven experience in recruiting and mobilizing volunteers to achieve goals.
• Preferred peer-to-peer fundraising experience or equivalent sales background.

Responsibilities

• Own all aspects of Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Lexington & Ashland, Kentucky.
• Lead high-level volunteer recruitment, training, coaching, and management to meet revenue and team goals.
• Build relationships with volunteers, participants, sponsors and community leaders and with corporate partners.
• Oversee volunteer committee development, team recruitment, retention, budgeting, timelines, marketing/PR and logistics.
• Cultivate Walk to End Alzheimer’s teams, sponsors and walkers to achieve development goals.
