Job summary

The Alzheimer’s Association is seeking a Manager, Walk to End Alzheimer’s, to lead Walk to End Alzheimer’s® events in the Saint Louis region. You will recruit, coach and mobilize volunteers, cultivate corporate and community partnerships and drive revenue growth through multiple peer‑to‑peer events annually.

You will manage event budgets, timelines, and milestones, deliver strong volunteer leadership, and use data to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of recruiting and mobilizing volunteers or meeting sales targets.
• Confident, goal‑oriented, independent and collaborative with partners.
• Experience developing corporate relationships and partnerships.
• Ability to manage large numbers of volunteers with diplomacy.
• Ability to engage diverse communities and work in a matrixed organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and follow‑through.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% within the territory, valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and insurance.
• Willingness to work some evenings and weekends for meetings and events.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and to use computer systems effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple peer‑to‑peer fundraising events annually and drive revenue growth.
• Cultivate key community and corporate leaders and build volunteer committees.
• Recruit, train and coach volunteers to implement proven fundraising practices.
• Manage event budgets, timelines and milestones using data to improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to maximize brand awareness and participation.
