Job summary

Lawyers for Justice, P.C.® in Glendale, CA is seeking an Associate Attorney to support wage-and-hour, class and representative action litigation. The role involves research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses, deposition assistance, and court appearances under senior attorneys.

The ideal candidate is licensed in California with 1–3 years civil litigation experience, including discovery and oral advocacy; prior class actions or wage-and-hour exposure is a plus; occasional travel

Qualifications

Must be licensed to practice law in California (or pending admission if already licensed in another U.S. jurisdiction).
1–3 years of civil litigation experience, including discovery, oral advocacy, and court appearances.
Experience with class actions, complex litigation, and wage-and-hour matters is a plus.
Ability to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
Assist with deposition preparation and attendance; prepare for and appear at court hearings.
Communicate with clients under the guidance of senior attorneys.
