Job summary

Lawyers for Justice, P.C.® in New York seeks a Senior Attorney to manage and lead an active caseload of state and federal wage-and-hour, class, and representative actions against major companies. You will guide associate attorneys, develop case strategy, and handle complex motions, depositions, and settlements.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in civil litigation, strong oral advocacy, discovery, and courtroom experience, with class-action and wage-hour exposure; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in California or awaiting California Bar admission.
• 8+ years of civil litigation experience, including discovery, oral advocacy, and court appearances.
• Class actions, complex litigation, and wage-and-hour experience is a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead an active caseload of wage-and-hour and class/representative actions.
• Develop case strategy and oversee associate attorneys.
• Lead depositions, dispositive and class-certification motions, and settlement negotiations.
• Appear in court for hearings and trial; mentor junior attorneys.
