Job summary

Lawyers for Justice in Glendale seeks an Associate Attorney to support wage-and-hour, class, and representative actions against regional and national employers. You will perform legal research, draft pleadings, motions and discovery responses, and assist with depositions under senior attorneys' guidance.

Ideal candidates are licensed in California with 1–3 years of civil litigation experience, including discovery, oral advocacy, and court appearances. Travel may be required as cases progress.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be licensed to practice law in California.
• 1–3 years of civil litigation experience, including discovery, oral advocacy, and Court appearances.
• Prior experience with class actions, complex litigation, and wage-and-hour cases is a plus.
• Travel on occasion may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Assist with deposition preparation and attendance under senior attorneys' guidance.
• Prepare for and appear at court hearings and conferences.
• Communicate with clients and coordinate with the legal team to achieve strong outcomes.
