Job summary

The City of Seattle is hiring for WA Cares Grants and Contracts Specialists to help launch and manage contracts with long-term service providers in the King County region. You will develop, monitor, and ensure compliance, enabling aging and disability supports while maintaining strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of professional experience in contract administration, budget management, planning, or human services administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, human services, or a related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute contracts – review provider applications and determine qualifications.
• Maintain communication threads and tracking tools for multiple applications.
• Communicate complex requirements in lay terms and manage contract execution.
• Provide technical assistance, support, and training to agencies regarding requirements and processes.
