City of Seattle is seeking a WA Cares Grants and Contracts Specialist to join a newly formed team. You will develop, manage, and monitor contracts with long-term care providers to help individuals remain safely in their homes and communities as they age.
The role reports to the WA Cares Supervisor and supports a statewide initiative across the Seattle-King County region. You will monitor contract compliance, provide technical assistance, and respond to inquiries from agencies and stakeholders.

WA Cares is the nation’s first universal long-term care insurance program, created to help Washington workers access the care they need when they need it. As the Area Agency on Aging for King County, Aging and Disability Services (ADS) plays a key role in launching and implementing WA Cares in the Seattle-King County region.

This position reports to the WA Cares Supervisor and is critical to the success of this innovative statewide initiative.
You will be successful if you are…
Requires a minimum of one year professional experience in contract administration, budget management, planning, human services administration, and a bachelor’s degree in a business, public administration, human services, or related field (or a combination of education and/or training and/or experience which provides an equivalent background required to perform the work of the class).
OR: An equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the position duties.
The full range for this opportunity is $39.39 - $46.43 an hour.
