Job summary

City of Seattle’s Aging and Disability Services (ADS) seeks a WA Cares Grants and Contracts Specialist to develop, manage, and monitor contracts with long-term support providers, helping individuals stay safely at home as they age.

Reporting to the WA Cares Supervisor, you will assess provider applications, ensure compliance with complex state and federal rules, and provide technical assistance and training.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of one year professional experience in contract administration, budget management, planning, human services administration, and a bachelor’s degree in a business, public administration, human services, or related field.
• OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated ability to track, prioritize, and respond to a high volume of communications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute contracts – review provider applications and manage contract documents.
• Contract compliance and quality – conduct risk assessments and monitoring; ensure adherence to rules and policies.
• Provide technical assistance, training to agencies on requirements, systems access, and processes.
