Job summary

Purple Communications, Inc is seeking an Hourly Interpreter Trainer to lead training for new Video Interpreters (VIs). This role involves providing comprehensive training on VRS applications and ongoing support for current VIs, requiring excellent communication skills and experience in instruction.

Candidates must be full-time, have a thorough understanding of VRS applications, and be willing to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends. The role includes remote work and potential travel to various locations.

Qualifications

• Full-time status required.
• Previous experience providing instruction or training strongly preferred.
• National Certification strongly preferred.
• Must be available to work a variety of schedules including nights and/or weekends.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and presentation.
• Knowledge of various learning styles and instructional methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide New Hire Training to newly hired VIs using approved Curriculum.
• Support and train current VIs company-wide under the direction of the Training Department.
• Be a role model and point person to answer questions on VI policies and procedures.
• Provide remote support to the training team in a virtual environment.
• Potential, occasional travel to provide training in various locations.
