Qualifications

• Law degree or equivalent required and licensed to practice law.
• At least 5 years of experience as a practicing litigation attorney.
• Experience defending securities class actions.
• Knowledge of and experience with complex financial products and services.
• Experience preparing witnesses for depositions and defending depositions.

Responsibilities

• Strategically lead and manage a portfolio of complex financial services litigation matters from intake through resolution.
• Defend the Firm in litigation involving securities class actions, M&A, and lending disputes.
• Conduct early and ongoing case assessments and develop strategic litigation plans.
• Retain, instruct, and manage outside counsel, including budgeting and staffing.
• Lead complex discovery, privilege review, deposition prep, and e-discovery vendor oversight.
• Handle third-party subpoenas and other requests where the Firm is not a party.
• Provide pre-litigation counseling to clients, including senior leaders.
• Develop playbooks and guidance to reduce recurring litigation risk.
